I want to build my own chopper/ rat bike- what do I need to know?

You`ll need a full tool box and plenty of space,,one of the biggest and first problems you`ll encounter is a suitable frame,hard or soft tail,the rake and therefore the yoke,tyres and electrics,,all have to be thought out before starting this project,,paint and all the fancy bits evolve over time,,you`ll find plenty off chrome platers and engravers working on only bikes to add the extras ,just keep buying the bike mags,,It`s a big project for a starter one so do your planning and try to stick with it,,altering half way through will open up a lot of problems,,engines and bits you`ll find quite easily ,,spares for older engines come in expensively,better to go for a newer engine from a rice burner,,but as I have said the frame is the problem,,engine mounts,tail and yoke all have to be built in and a custom frame will set you back over �500 at the cheapest,,,
