Im relatively shy with girls "im boring" what should i do?

im16, i mean i cant create any common subjects so i rarely talk to them bec when i do i seem like an idiot.in fact most of them seem very boring just going on complaining about this and that.what should i do?is there any practices that may improve my social skills with girls? knowing that im completely different with my friends.(boys)
