Ever had a supervisor that is too uninvolved?
I was working at a place where the owner was the supervisor and he was practically never around. He would pop in one or two minutes out of the whole day, if at all. Nonetheless, this lead to resentment by everyone else because they were left to deal with absolutely everything on their own. People also weren't arriving on time in the morning because the boss was so lax and removed from everything, and sometimes noone was there to even let everyone else in the building. As far as I know, this is the only job he has and noone seems to know where he is all day. I've had supervisors before that didn't want to do much but sit on their duff all day but I never saw anything like this. They have a high turnover rate and yet the boss doesn't seem to get a clue that something is seriously wrong with the way this place is being run.
