Is faith Divine, Is it Gods way of speaking to us?

If so...What about the Muslim, Hindu, Catholic etc etc. Even the Aztec had such strong faith in the Sun that they sacrificed people daily? Is it not a human instinct to have faith, therefor it's not Gods way of speaking to us?
